IH Owners Club

The informal and friendly IH Owners Club was formed in 2005 by Tony and Mary Sutton, IH Tio R owners, after meeting other owners during their travels and realising how beneficial shared experiences could be. Nicola and Ian Hartley supported them and the first Newsletter christened HihO was circulated to interested owners in November 2005. The Club is independent of the Company but does enjoy the full support of its staff.

Membership has slowly grown and HihO is now published four times a year. Each issue contains articles written by members for members on a variety of subjects including travel experiences, advice, suggestions and modifications which enhance the enjoyment of owning an IH.

The first gathering of owners was held at Clumber Park in March 2006 and over forty IH vans and their owners attended. Now a meet is held in spring each year at different locations in the country. Owners also have the opportunity to meet at the Motorhome Shows by camping with the club in a special reserved camping area. Informal meets are held during the year and these have included a painting weekend, Twinwood (Glen Miller) festival and a visit to the Christmas Markets in Birmingham. All the meets are advertised in the quarterly Newsletter.

Membership is open to anyone who owns an IH motorcamper and the annual fee of £10 includes the quarterly newsletter. Application forms are obtainable from the IH reception area.
